Allergy Oral Drops
Oral immunotherapy (allergy sublinqual drops)
The drops are formulated specific to your results just as the injection vials. They are used about every 5-7 days. The doses are increased until the dose reaches six drops. That dose is repeated until the vial is empty. The next drop vial will increase in strength as long as there have been no problems with the last treatment vial. In order to use home treatment drops, it is essential that the patient purchase an EpiPen to have on hand in case of a severe reaction to the treatment. They are sent home with a written prescription for the EpiPen along with the treatment vial or vials. The patient or parent will be instructed on how and when to use the EpiPen before they leave our Clinic.
